NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee will make the short trip up I-24 to take on the Belmont Bruins at the Curb Event Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 12 p.m. CT. The game will air on the Blue Raider Network and broadcast on ESPN+.

SERIES HISTORY
» This will mark the 22nd meeting in series history between the Blue Raiders and Bruins.
» MTSU owns a 17-4 advantage over Belmont in the overall series. Under Head Coach Rick Insell, the Blue Raiders are 1-4 against Belmont.
BLUE RAIDER NOTES
» Middle Tennessee will take on Belmont on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 12 p.m. (CT) at the Curb Event Center.
» The Blue Raiders dropped the previous meeting 57-71 on Dec. 3, 2023. Ta'Mia Scott led the way with 20 points and two rebounds.
» MTSU has enjoyed great success on the road under Head Coach Rick Insell. The Blue Raiders are 172-89 overall on the road under Insell, for a 65 percent winning ledger.
» Following a trio of strong performances against Florida A&M, Purdue and No. 15 Iowa State, Middle Tennessee center Anastasiia Boldyreva was named the Conference USA and Tennessee Sports Writers Association Player of the Week. Boldyreva was also named to the Elevance Health Women's Fort Myers Tip-Off All-Tournament Team along with: Joyce Edwards & Ashlyn Watkins, South Carolina, Audi Crooks, Iowa State and Destini Lombard, Purdue.
» The Blue Raiders return 10 players, including three starters, from the 2023-24 squad that went 30-5 and won the CUSA regular season and tournament titles and advanced to the Round of 32 of the NCAA Tournament.
» Middle Tennessee will play a tough non-conference slate highlighted neutral sites matchups with Iowa State, Kansas State and Purdue, and a trip down I-40 to take on the Tennessee Lady Vols. The Blue Raiders will face eight teams that finished in the top 150 of the NET Rankings last season, including seven that finished in the top 100 and four that finished in the top 40 before heading into league play.
SCOUTING THE BRUINS
» The Bruins are 4-4 on the season, with losses to No. 13 Kansas State, No. 12 Ohio State, No. 14 Duke and Michigan.
» Kendall Holmes leads the Bruins in scoring at 11.8 points per game, while Carmyn Harrison is Belmont's leader in boards (6.3) and blocks (1.4).
» Tuti Jones leads the Bruins in assists (2.3) and steals (2.5).
» Belmont has a home winning percentage of .747 (201-68) inside the Curb since the arena opened prior to the 2003-04 season, including an exceptional 79-14 (.849) inside the Curb under Head Coach Bart Brooks.
