Outdoor Seasoner opener set in Atlanta

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee will be back in action to open the outdoor season this weekend on March 15-16 in Atlanta for the Yellow Jacket Invite.

Meet Schedule
Friday's action will start at 9:00 a.m. CT with combined events and Field and Track events to follow. Saturday will get started at 10:00 a.m. CT. again with combined events and Field and Track events following.

Last Time Out – CUSA Indoor Championships
Stephen Eloji set a new CUSA Indoor record of 7.77s with his first-place finish in the men's 60H final.
Women's Team Score – 95 – Third Place
Men's Team Score – 92 points – Fourth Place

· Habtamu Geta placed second on the podium in men's one-mile run with a 4:08.15s time
· Eloji set a new CUSA record in the men's 60H 7.77s time for first place on the podium
· Wail Bourahli placed second on the podium in the men's 800-meter running
· Brian Kiptoo placed second on the podium in the men's 3000-meter running a 8:18.72s time. Kiptoo also placed second in the 5000-meter with a personal best 14:11.85s
· Bourahli qualified for his first CUSA finals placing first in the 800-meter prelims running a 1:52.93s time
· Joel Iheakolam placed third on podium in men's long jump finals with a 7.22m mark for a new personal best
· Brady Daniels ran a personal best 48.31s in the men's 400
Women's Top Performances
· In the women's one-mile run, Odilia Jepchumba placed second on the podium with Faith Nyathi in third. Jepchumba ran a 4:48.15s time and Nyathi ran 4:48.24s time.
· In the women's 800-meter, Pamela Milano placed second on the podium with a new personal best time of 2:08.39s
· Jepchumba placed first on the podium in the women's 3000-meter running a 9:36.13s time. She also placed second in the 5000-meter with a personal best 16:46.65s time.
· Viktoria Rusnakova was second on the podium in the women's Triple Jump with a personal best 11.97m mark
· Brook Studnicki ran a personal best in the women's mile of 4:56.48s
· Kayla Gaddy-Middleton had a personal best in the triple jump with a mark of 10.40m
· Tshwanelo Maruping ran a personal best in the mile of 4:59.28s
· Anaiya Midget Jumped 10.47m in the Triple Jump for a new personal best.
· Lakesha Smith placed third in the Long Jump with a personal best mark of 5.89m
