Porter named NABC All-District 11

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NABC has announced the 2023-24 NABC Division I All-District Teams and District Coaches of the Year. Middle Tennessee's Jestin Porter has been named Second Team All-District 11. The All-District honors are voted on by NABC-member coaches across NCAA Division I.
Porter adds NABC All-District honors to Second Team All-Conference USA and CUSA All-Tournament honors, as well as two CUSA Player of the week awards. The junior from Houston, Texas, led the Blue Raiders in scoring with 13.9 points per game, shooting 39.9 percent from the floor and 33.7 percent from 3-point range with a 77.5 percent mark from the free throw line. He led MTSU with 32 steals and was second on the team with 60 assists.
Porter set a program and CUSA record by going 8-for-8 from 3-point range against UTEP on Feb. 17. His 41-point output in the win is tied for the third-highest scoring total in program history.
