Blue Raiders wrap up outdoor meet in Knoxville

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee men's and women's track and field teams completed this weekend's meet at the Tennessee Invite on Saturday afternoon.
Men's Top Performances
· Carmelo Cannizzaro finished seventh in the men's 1500-meter with a 3:54.15s time.
· Justin Eugene jumped for mark of 6.29 in the long jump for a season best this outdoor season.
· Brady Daniels placed fifth in the men's 200-meter with a personal best of 21.54s. Sidney Ware would also place 11th at 22.06s.
· Sammy Sang would finish 10th in the 1500M with a 3:51.74s time.
· Jackson Burns ran a season-best in the men's 100-meter of 10.87s.
Women's Top Performances
· Viktoria Rusnakova placed 10th in the long jump with a mark of 5.58m
· In the women's 1500-meter, Hailee Gorham ran a personal best 5:05.65s time.
· Leonie Beu finished fifth in the women's 200-meter with a 24.14s time.
· Tamia Waters placed 10th in the 400-meter Hurdles running a 1:06.40s time.
· The women's 4x100 team ran a season best in the first-place finish with a time of 45.26s. The team consisted of Leonie Beu, Lakesha Smith, Laila Rudolph and Tamia Waters. Their time is the 53rd fastest time in the nation.
· Rudolph also rana PR in the women's 100-meter race of 11.93s.
· In the triple Jump Laura Odivwri placed third with a mark of 11.97m while Rusnakova jumped a season best mark of 11.96m.
· The women's 4x400 relay team of Leonie Beu, Pamela Milano, Lakesha Smith and Tamia Waters ran a season best 3:44.42s time in a second-place finish.

The men's and women's teams will be at the Bryan Clay Invite from April 11-13.
