Blue Raiders fall to No. 15 Mississippi State in the Second Round of the Starkville Regional

STARKVILLE, Miss. — No.37 Middle Tennessee men's tennis took on No. 15 Mississippi State in the second round of the Starkville Regional on Saturday, May 4 in Starkville, Miss. MTSU dropped the match 4-0.
This is the third consecutive season the Blue Raiders reached the Second Round and fifth in program history. This is also the second straight season where the Blue Raiders and Bulldogs met in the Second Round of the Starkville Regional.
The Bulldogs took the doubles point with wins on court No. 2 and No. 3.
MSU won on court No. 6, No. 1 and No. 3 to clinch the victory. Demis Taramonlis dropped the first set but was up 5-3 in the second and finished unfinished. On court No. 4, Jakub Kroslak's match was unfinished as well and was tied in the second set 4-4 after losing the first set.
