Blue Raider announce four hires to complete external staff

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Athletics announced the addition of four individuals to the MTSU External Affairs team on Tuesday.

Seth Thomas will serve as the Director of Ticket Sales within Taymar Sales U after spending a year with the Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium working in Business Development as an Account Executive. Prior to Miami, Thomas was a Premium Sales Account Executive for the Professional Bull Riders Association in Dallas. Thomas graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management in August 2022

Bryant Powers and Isabella Wolf join the Blue Raiders as part of MTSU Athletics Sponsorships (Van Wagner). Powers will serve as the Director of Sales, while Wolf will be an Account Executive. Powers comes to Murfreesboro after serving as the General Manager of Corporate Partnerships for Jax State. Prior to his time in Jacksonville, Powers worked with the Birmingham Squadron and the NBA G-League Affiliate for the New Orleans Pelicans. Powers graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Human Exercise Science in 2018 and a Master of Arts in Sport Management in 2021.

Wolf served as an Assistant Women's Soccer Coach at Cumberland University, while also serving as an External Affairs Intern at Middle Tennessee. A four-year letter winner at UT Martin, Wolf graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2021 and received a Master of Arts in Sports Management from Cumberland in 2024.

Kyle Yerem joins MTSU as the Director of Annual Giving for the Blue Raider Athletic Association (BRAA). Yerem served as the Assistant Director of Ticket Sales and Service at Tulane University for a year before being promoted to Associate Director of Development in 2023. Prior to Tulane, Yerem spent two seasons in ticketing with the Nashville Soccer Club and a year as a Corporate Partnerships Account Executive for Austin Peay. Yerem graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Louisville in 2013.

"We already have an extremely talented External Affairs staff, but adding these four individuals to round out our team will no doubt take us to the next level," said Lee De León, Deputy Athletic Director of External Affairs. "Bella, Bryant, Kyle and Seth are tremendous additions to our team who all have the right attitude, background, and skill set to further promote MTSU Athletics and help us generate more revenue to support our Blue Raider student-athletes."
