Volleyball drops another tough battle to Delaware

NEWARK, Del. – Middle Tennessee Volleyball dropped another tough contest to the Delaware Blue Hens in four sets. The set scores were as follows: 21-25, 11-25, 25-23, 23-25.
The Blue Raiders led the Blue Hens in kills, assists and digs again for their second matchup. Middle Tennessee outscored Delaware 53 kills to 47 kills. Raegan Durbin led all players in the match with 15 kills, Gabrielle Clinkscale notched 14 kills, the next highest kill contributor of the match.
Caroline Macander led all players in the match with 26 assists, Nora Marginean had her first double-digit match of the season with 10 assists and Isil Yilmaz posted nine assists. Defensively, Yilmaz led all players in the match with 25 digs, Macander was one dig short of a double-double with nine, Marginean tallied a season high six digs, and three other Blue Raiders notched five digs.
