Volleyball falls to New Mexico State in first clash of the weekend

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Middle Tennessee Volleyball dropped a four-set contest to New Mexico State in their first meeting of the weekend. The set scores were as follows: 14-25, 27-25, 20-25, 21-25.
The Blue Raiders had a tough outing; the Aggies topping every stat category. Raegan Durbin was the offensive leader for Middle Tennessee with 13 kills, Payton Deidesheimer and Gabrielle Clinkscale both tallying eight. Caroline Macander dished out 36 assists with four kills of her own.
Isil Yilmaz tied for a match high 12 digs, leading the Blue Raiders in the back court. Mackenna Poole notched six digs, Macander and Durbin each with five. Middle Tennessee had five blocks as a team, Logan Carr assisting in all five of them.
