DALLAS, Texas — Six Middle Tennessee women's soccer student-athletes received All-Conference recognition as part of the 2025 Conference USA postseason awards, the league announced Friday.
Senior forward Emma Pettersen was named to the First Team All-Conference, while graduate defender Emma Brown earned Second Team honors. Junior defender Sadie Sterbenz and senior forward Idun Kvaale were selected to the Third Team, and freshmen Alli Craig and Scottie Newton were named to the All-Freshman Team.
Pettersen ranked among Conference USA's top attacking players, finishing tied for second in goals (9) and second in total points (22). She also ranked third in shots (51) and recorded the game-winning goal that secured MTSU's berth in the CUSA Tournament.
Brown anchored the Blue Raider back line, starting all 18 matches and totaling 1,593 minutes. She helped lead a defensive unit that produced seven shutouts and a 0.94 goals-against average.
Sterbenz started every match and contributed on both ends of the field with one goal and one assist. She was a key part of a defensive group that remained one of the most consistent in the conference.
