Men’s Tennis Adds Santiago Lora for 2026 Spring Season

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee men's tennis head coach Jimmy Borendame has announced the addition of Santiago Lora to the Blue Raider program for the 2026 spring season.
Lora, from Cochabamba, Bolivia, has recently earned ATP singles and doubles points over the past two weeks. He is currently ranked No. 102 in the world by the International Tennis Federation and holds the No. 1 junior ranking in Bolivia.
His junior accomplishments include:
– ITF J100 singles champion in Peru and Bolivia
– ITF J100 doubles champion in Peru and Bolivia
– ITF J200 doubles runner-up in Paraguay
– ITF J100 singles runner-up in Bolivia
– ITF J60 doubles champion in Peru and Bolivia
– Member of Bolivia's Junior Davis Cup team
– Selected for the Pan American Junior Games as Bolivia's No. 1 racket
– Represented Bolivia as the No. 1 racket at the South America Championships (U12, U14
Assistant coach Josh McDermott on Lora:
