Lee selected to CUSA All-Academic First Team

DALLAS – Middle Tennessee women's golf student-athlete Abbie Lee has been named to the 2025 Conference USA Women's Golf All-Academic First Team, as announced by the conference office Thursday afternoon. This marks Lee's third selection to a conference all-academic team, all in consecutive years.
Lee, a senior from Glasgow, Ky., was an automatic selection to the First Team, boasting a 4.0 cumulative GPA while majoring in Mechatronics Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. The senior is also the current president of the Middle Tennessee Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and spends countless hours volunteering in the Murfreesboro community.
This season, Lee has notched two top five finishes and three top 10 on the course, with eight rounds at or below par in the seven events she has competed in. Her 73.24 stroke average as of Thursday ranks as the third best single season average in program history and her round at 67 in the Golfweek Spring Challenge tied for seventh lowest in MTSU history. Lee's performances have helped lead the Blue Raiders to three top three finishes this season, the most since the 2018-19 season.
