MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee men's basketball team has signed Brandon Oloumou to its 2025-26 roster, head coach Nick McDevitt announced Thursday afternoon. The 6-10 big man is set to transfer in from the College of Southern Idaho as an incoming junior this offseason.
The Nassau, Bahamas, native spent his first two collegiate seasons as a Golden Eagle, helping the program achieve 23 and 22 wins in his freshman and sophomore seasons, respectively. The center is a strong shot blocker who will be an important rim protector for the Blue Raiders. He denied 12 shots in the early part of the 2024-25 slate before going down with a season-ending injury.
Oloumou is known for his strong athleticism on the hardwood and uses his 6-10 frame to be impactful above the rim. Prior to arriving at CSI, he attended Menaul High School in New Mexico, also using a post-graduate year at Victory Rock Prep. While at Menaul, he helped lead the team to the 2021-22 2A State Championship while being recognized with All-Metro and All-District team honors. A multi-sport athlete, Oloumou competed for the Menaul track and field team during his secondary years and brought home a state championship high jump title.
