Middle Tennessee falls 1-0 at Lipscomb

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee (4-2-1) dropped a 1-0 decision to Lipscomb (3-2-1) on Thursday night at the Lipscomb Soccer Complex.
Lipscomb struck for the lone goal in the 20th minute, but Middle Tennessee's defense settled in and held the Bisons scoreless over the final 70 minutes. The Blue Raiders' back line stayed organized throughout the night, limiting Lipscomb to just 10 total shots with six on target.
Sophomore goalkeeper Demi Gronauer recorded a season-high five saves for the Blue Raiders, while forward Emma Pettersen paced the attack with four shots, all on target, accounting for more than half of MTSU's seven total attempts.

"We played well enough and created plenty of chances to change the outcome of the game. Now we have to put this result behind us and get ready for a strong Vanderbilt team."
