2 Named to All-Tournament team after sweep of UT Martin

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Volleyball finished the Blue Raider Bash weekend strong with a straight-set victory over the UT Martin Skyhawks. The scores of the sets were as follows: 25-19, 25-21, 25-16.
The Blue Raiders played a solid offensive match, Raegan Durbin leading the way yet again with 10 kills. Gabrielle Clinkscale, Payton Deidesheimer and Aowyn Schrader contributed six kills a piece, Schrader hitting a .600 clip with no errors. Junior setter Danit Cohen joined Caroline Macander at the setter position today, the two combining for 28 assists on the match.
The Middle Tennessee defense saw contributions from every Blue Raider who saw action in today's match aside from one. MacKenna Poole led the Blue Raiders with 10 digs, seeing action in the libero jersey for the first time this season. Isil Yilmaz totaled six digs, eclipsing the 1,000 career digs milestone. Raegan Durbin and Caroline Macander also tallied six digs a piece.
"From last weekend to this weekend I think we did a great job of improving in a lot of areas," said Head Coach Alexa Keckler. "We played a little bit more confidently; we got a lot more love in the middle and that was really important to us offensively. There was definitely some good progress from last week to this week and we're just going to keep making those same jumps."
At the conclusion of the weekend, Raegan Durbin and Michaela Dlouhá were named to the Blue Raider Bash All-Tournament Team. Durbin had a phenomenal weekend, leading the Blue Raiders offensively in every match. Dlouhá had 15 kills and 14 total blocks on the weekend, now leading the Blue Raiders in blocks and blocks per set.
By the Numbers
- 600: Aowyn Schrader hit a .600 efficiency against the Skyhawks with six kills and no errors on 10 attempts, setting a new 2025 Middle Tennessee match high hitting percentage.
- 10: MacKenna Poole had a career-high 10 digs in today's match, her first career match with double-digit digs.
- 3: Raegan Durbin had double-digit kills in all three matches this weekend, now leading the Blue Raiders in kills and kills per set.

The Blue Raiders head to Oxford, Ohio for the Miami/Best Western Invitational next weekend, where they will face three opponents in Miami (Ohio), Duquesne, and Southern Indiana. The first matchup will be against host Miami (Ohio) at 9:30 a.m. CT on Friday, September 12.
