Birtan Duran and Antoine Mayoral Named Conference USA Doubles Team of the Week

DALLAS, Texas — Middle Tennessee junior Birtan Duran and freshman Antoine Mayoral have been awarded their first Conference USA Doubles Team of the Week honor for the season.
On Thursday, Duran and Mayoral achieved a victory against Virginia Tech's Drew Fishback and Frank Thompson, ending with a score of 7-6 (7-3). The match featured several ties and lead changes until the Blue Raiders gained a 5-4 lead. The Hokies then leveled the score at 5-5, resulting in a tiebreaker that the Blue Raiders won, thus securing the doubles point on Court Three.
