MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee Football will introduce a new fan engagement opportunity with the launch of "Coffee with Coach," beginning Wednesday, February 18, inside the Smith Center.
The event will take place in one of the Smith Center's position meeting rooms and will begin at 8:00 a.m. "Coffee with Coach" is designed to provide fans with a relaxed, informal setting to connect with Head Coach Derek Mason, hear updates on the state of the program, and ask questions in an open, conversational atmosphere.
The series will be held on the third Wednesday of each month and will run through August, prior to the start of the 2026 season. Coffee and donuts from Donut Country will be provided, and the event will be open to the public at no cost.
Scheduled dates for "Coffee with Coach" include:
Each session will feature Coach Mason discussing program updates, introducing members of the coaching staff, and periodically welcoming a student-athlete to share their experience within the program. There will also be opportunities to win some great prizes.
"This is about connection," Mason said. "Our fans are passionate, invested, and they deserve opportunities to engage with us in a meaningful way. 'Coffee with Coach' gives us the chance to be transparent, share our vision, and build relationships in a relaxed environment. Football is about people first, and this is one more way we can bring everyone together."
Parking for attendees will be available in the Greenland Drive Parking Lot. Fans are encouraged to arrive early, as space inside the meeting room may be limited.
