Blue Raiders Sweep CUSA Weekly Tennis Honors

DALLAS, Texas — Eric Crivei was named the CUSA Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week, and Ondrej Horak and Antoine Mayoral won the CUSA Men's Doubles Team of the Week, per the league office.
This marks Crivei's second CUSA Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week honor. In doubles, it is Mayoral and Horak's second award together.
In Friday's match against Memphis, Crivei beat Marcos Castro Fabra 6-1, 6-0 on court five, which tied the overall match at 1-1. In the following match against Bellarmine, MTSU swept 7-0, and Crivei finished first again in singles, beating Alex English 6-0, 6-1. Now the Canadian is on a six-match singles winning streak and ends the regular season with a 12-6 singles record and a 12-8 doubles record.
Against Memphis, Horak and Mayoral defeated Sam Reeve and Lasse Rensing 7-5, but Memphis ultimately won the doubles point. In the next match versus Bellarmine, MTSU swept 7-0. The Blue Raiders secured the doubles point on courts one and two, with Mayoral and Horak beating Colby Berson and Matthew Nice 6-2. Now the duo is 5-0.
