Middle Tennessee Set to Face NC State in NCAA Tournament

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — No. 48 Middle Tennessee men's tennis team is NCAA Tournament-bound for the seventh consecutive season.
The Blue Raiders will travel to Athens, Georgia, where No. 12 seed Georgia hosts the regional. Middle Tennessee opens play against No. 31 NC State in the first round on Friday.
The last meeting between the two programs came in Raleigh back in 2022, where Middle Tennessee fell to No. 20 NC State, 4-3, in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. NC State leads the all-time series, 3-2, and enters the tournament with a 16-7 record this season. Head coach Kyle Spencer has led the Wolfpack since June 2017.
