No.48 Middle Tennessee falls to NC State 4-2

ATHENS, Ga. — No. 48 Middle Tennessee lost 4-2 to No. 30 NC State in the opening round of the NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championship, concluding its tournament run.
This loss ended Middle Tennessee's season. The team entered the postseason as Conference USA champions, marking its seventh NCAA appearance in a row.
Senior Ondrej Horak and freshman Antoine Mayoral improved to 8-0 in doubles, defeating William Manning and Jules Leroux 7-5. Jonasz Dziopak and Jacques secured another doubles win, overcoming Sabaliauskas and Camus 7-6.
Eric Crivei fell 6-4, 6-2 to Camus on court five, while senior Freddy Murray lost 6-4, 6-3 to Darius Pop. These results gave NC State a 2-1 lead.
Birtan Duran won a three-set match on court three to tie the score at 2-2. NC State secured the victory as Martin Borisiouk defeated Horak 2-6, 6-4, 6-4, and Jules Leroux overcame Al-Amin 6-7 (4-7), 6-4, 6-1.
