Horak, Al-Amin, and Murray Earn CSC Academic Honors

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Three Middle Tennessee men's tennis seniors, Ondrej Horak, Karim Al-Amin, and Freddy Murray, have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team, as announced Tuesday.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's Tennis teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, honor the nation's top student-athletes for outstanding athletic and academic achievement, reflecting their commitment to excellence on and off the court.
Horak, the CUSA Player of the Year, earned All-Conference First Team honors in both singles and doubles, and received several academic awards, including the Commissioner's Academic Medal and Dean's List recognition.
Al-Amin, a psychology major with a 3.962 GPA, has received multiple academic awards, was named to the 2026 CUSA All-Academic Team, earned All-Conference Singles and Doubles First Team honors, and secured his third CUSA Championship title.
Murray, a business administration major, earned academic honors, was named to the CUSA All-Academic Team, and holds an 18-6 singles record over 24 matches this season.
