Bokpin Named CUSA Men’s Track Performer of the Meet

DALLAS — Conference USA announced that Mustapha Bokpin is the Men's Track Performer of the Meet following the outdoor championships held in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, from May 14–16.
At the meet, Bokpin had a personal best of 9.94 seconds in the 100m, meeting the Olympic qualifying standard, breaking the meet record, and soaring to #5 in the 2026 DI College Outdoor Rankings. He followed up with a win in the 200m, setting another personal and meet record at 20.26 seconds. Bokpin's performance earned him the title of CUSA High Point Scorer.
After his standout performances at the Conference USA championships, Bokpin is now competing in Lexington. There, he advanced to the quarterfinals in the 200 meters by running 20.35 seconds to finish sixth in his heat and second in his section. He also advanced in the 100 meters, placing second in his heat with a time of 10.09 seconds.
