Blue Raiders earn ninth consecutive AVCA Team Academic Award

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee volleyball team has been honored with earning the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the ninth consecutive year.
The award is given to programs that maintained a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 or better on a 4.0 scale (or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale). This year Middle Tennessee volleyball was one of 1,432 collegiate and high school volleyball programs that were honored with the award.
This past season, 12 student-athletics made the CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll (3.0 GPA or higher) and eight made the CUSA Commissioner's Academic Medal list (3.7 GPA or higher).
