Men's Basketball 2026-27 conference schedule announced

DALLAS – The Middle Tennessee men's basketball program will compete in 18 league contests in the 2026-27 season, as announced by the Conference USA office Thursday. Nine of the conference games will be played at home in the Murphy Center, while the other nine will be played on the road.
Contrary to the year prior, the Blue Raiders will begin conference play on the road, playing Jacksonville State on New Year's Eve before heading east to Kennesaw State on January 2. MTSU will return home for the league home opener against Sam Houston on Jan. 7 before welcoming in New Mexico State on Jan. 9.
Heading back on the road, Middle Tennessee will travel to Liberty for the first time in two years on Jan. 14 followed by a trip to The First State to play Delaware on Jan. 16. For the final home games of the month of January, the Blue Raiders will host FIU on Jan. 21, then Missouri State on Jan. 23.
The first rivalry game against WKU will see the team travel north to Bowling Green, kicking off a three-game road stand on Jan. 30. Heading out west, MTSU will play New Mexico State on February 4 then venture to Sam Houston on Feb. 6.
Delaware will come into the Murphy Center on Feb. 11, followed by Liberty on Feb. 13. For the final road trip of the regular season, Middle Tennessee will travel to Missouri State on Feb. 18 and close out the road stand on Feb. 20 at FIU.
With three home contests to complete the slate, the second game against WKU will take place on Feb. 27. Just like the season began, the Blue Raiders will play Kennesaw State on March 4, before welcoming Jacksonville State into the Murphy Center for the first time in two seasons on March 6.
Times, TV schedules and the remainder of the team's non-conference schedule will be announced at a later date.
