CUSA announces 2026-27 women's league schedule

DALLAS – Middle Tennessee's 18-game Conference USA slate will feature nine home games and nine away contests, announced by the league office Wednesday.
The Blue Raiders, under first-year head coach Matt Insell, will tip off their CUSA campaign at home against Jax State on Jan. 2 and Kennesaw State on Jan. 4. MTSU will hit the road for the first time in league play on Jan. 8 with a trip to Sam Houston, following by a contest at New Mexico State on Jan. 10.
Middle Tennessee returns home the following week to host Liberty on Jan. 14 and Delaware on Jan. 16. The Blue Raiders then travel to FIU on Jan. 21 and Missouri State on Jan. 23. A rivalry showdown with WKU on Jan. 30 will close out the month in Murfreesboro.
February begins with home games against New Mexico State on Feb. 4 and Sam Houston on Feb. 6. MTSU heads back on the road to face Delaware on Feb. 11 and Liberty on Feb. 13.
MTSU will welcome Missouri State and FIU to the Glass House on Feb. 18 and Feb. 20 before closing out the month on the road against rival WKU on Feb. 27.
The Blue Raiders will then conclude the regular season by traveling to Kennesaw State on Mar. 4 and Jax State on Mar. 6.
The 2027 CUSA Women's Basketball Championship is scheduled for March 9-13 at Propst Arena in Huntsville, Alabama.
