Cross Country teams Earn Top 10 South Region Rankings in USTFCCAA Week One Poll

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee cross country teams earned top 10-rankings in the Week One USTFCCCA National Coaches Poll released on Tuesday. The men's team was ranked No. 4, while the women's team came in at No. 7.
Both teams have moved up since the preseason poll, the men's team climbed from No.6 to No.4, while the women's team climbed from No.12 to No. 7
The Blue Raiders have gotten off to a strong start this season. At the Memphis Twilight Classic, the men's team finished first with a team score of 28 points, while the women's team finished second with 61 points.
In their second meet of the season at the Tennessee Invitational, the men's team won the meet with a team score of 31 points, while the women's team recorded a team score of 46 points.

The Blue Raiders head to Chicago, Ill. On Sept 25 for the Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational.
