Men's Basketball unveils 2026-27 non-conference schedule

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee men's basketball has finalized its 2026-27 non-conference schedule, which features high-profile home matchups, a trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands for the Paradise Jam and contests against regional rivals.
The Blue Raiders tip off the season inside the Murphy Center, hosting Fisk on Nov. 2 for Education Day. Following the opener, MTSU will travel to Lawrence, Kan., Nov. 6 to take on 2026 NCAA Tournament participant Kansas.
Middle Tennessee then returns to Murfreesboro for a pair of home contests, welcoming Evansville on Nov. 10 and former Ohio Valley Conference rival Southeast Missouri State on Nov.13.
After two games on its own court, MTSU hits the road to face Georgia Southern on Nov. 17. The Blue Raiders take to the skies for the U.S. Virgin Islands to compete in the Paradise Jam from Nov. 20-23, opening tournament play against Temple on Nov. 20.
Following Paradise Jam, Middle Tennessee returns to Murfreesboro for its next two contests, squaring off against Toccoa Falls on Nov. 28, then in-state rival Tennessee Tech on Dec. 1. The Blue Raiders then travel up I-24 to Nashville, Tenn., for a contest with Belmont on Dec. 5.
After battling the Bruins, MTSU will take part in the Rocket City Classic in Huntsville, Ala., on Dec. 15, taking on Auburn at Propst Arena. The Blue Raiders remain in the Yellowhammer State for their final road game of the non-conference slate on Dec. 17, traveling to Birmingham, Ala., to renew a Conference USA rivalry with UAB.
Middle Tennessee closes the non-conference schedule with a home tilt against UT Southern on Dec. 20.
