Six-Member 2026 Blue Raider Hall of Fame Class Set for Induction Nov. 6

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – With the 2026 Blue Raider Hall of Fame induction weekend now just over a month away, Middle Tennessee Athletics is set to celebrate six individuals whose accomplishments helped shape the history of Blue Raider Athletics.
The Class of 2026 – John Ampomah, Paige (Goeglein) Davis, Izabela Kozon, Clint Marks, Ken Riley (posthumously) and Whit Turnbow – will be inducted into the Blue Raider Hall of Fame during a ceremony on Friday, Nov. 6, in the SRM Concrete Club on the third floor of the Stephen and Denise Smith Student-Athlete Performance Center. The class will bring the total number of Blue Raider Hall of Fame members to 199.
The induction ceremony is part of a full weekend of activities surrounding the Blue Raider football team's Homecoming game against WKU on Saturday, Nov. 7. General admission tickets are free and on a first-come, first served basis. To obtain the free tickets, please click on the RSVP link above.

6-6:45 p.m. – AD Reception at Kennon Sports Hall of Fame
7 p.m. – Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at SRM Concrete Club, Third Floor Smith Center
Table reservations for eight guests are available for $500. To reserve a table, contact the Blue Raider Athletic Association at 615-898-2210 or BRAA@mtsu.edu. All proceeds benefit the Blue Raider Varsity Club. After submitting registration, a ticket voucher for entry will be emailed. Please allow up to 48 hours to receive the ticket.
Saturday, Nov. 7
10 a.m. – Hall of Fame Inductees participate in the Homecoming Parade
2:30 p.m. – MTSU vs. WKU football kickoff at Floyd Stadium
Meet the Class of 2026
John Ampomah, Track – Ampomah competed as a javelin thrower for the Blue Raiders from 2014-16 and finished as the national runner-up in the event at the 2015 NCAA Championships. The Accra, Ghana, native owns the MTSU career record in the javelin with a mark of 81.55 meters and was a Conference USA champion in 2015 and 2016. Ampomah became the first back-to-back event winner in MTSU history at the Penn Relays and was named the Outstanding Field Performer/Field Athlete of the Year in 2015.
Paige (Goeglein) Davis, Soccer – Davis was the 2012 Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Year after helping lead the Blue Raiders to a 49-29-6 record during her four-year career from 2009-12. The Fort Wayne, Indiana, native ranks seventh in program history in points, is tied for third in matches played, ranks fourth in game-winning goals and is tied for 10th in goals scored. In 2012, Davis helped lead MTSU to a 14-5-1 record and a Sun Belt championship while recording 32 points and setting a school single-season record with eight game-winning goals.
Izabela Kozon, Volleyball – A former Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year and 2010 Honorable Mention All-American, Kozon helped lead the Blue Raiders to four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances from 2007-10. She finished her career ranked first in the 25-point rally-scoring era in kills (1,330), kills per set (3.58), attacks (3,311), service aces (88) and double-doubles (33). A three-time all-conference selection, Kozon also earned Sun Belt Tournament MVP honors in 2010.
Clint Marks, Football – Marks was a 36-game starter who led the Blue Raiders to the program's first-ever FBS bowl appearance in 2006. The left-handed quarterback finished his career ranked second in school history in completion percentage (66.0), fourth in pass completions (668), fourth in passing yards (7,342), fourth in 200-yard passing games (18) and seventh in touchdown passes (37). Marks guided MTSU to a share of the 2006 Sun Belt Conference championship and became the first quarterback in school history to record back-to-back 2,000-yard passing seasons.
Ken Riley, Men's Basketball – A two-time All-Ohio Valley Conference selection and team captain in 1970-71, Riley is a member of MTSU's 1,000-point club and ranks 23rd in program history in scoring. He also ranks third in career rebounds with 924 and fourth in rebounding average at 12.2 per game. Riley led the Blue Raider freshman team in scoring and rebounding during the 1966-67 season with 398 points and 353 rebounds. He also earned three letters in track.
Whit Turnbow, Men's Golf – Turnbow has served MTSU Athletics as a player, assistant coach and administrator, and was the Blue Raiders' head men's golf coach from 2007-15. During his eight seasons as head coach, Turnbow led MTSU to six NCAA Regional appearances, one NCAA Championship appearance, a conference championship and three conference Coach of the Year honors. His teams won 16 tournament titles and recorded 43 top-five finishes. Turnbow coached 14 first-team all-conference selections, while his players earned National Player of the Week honors three times. His first team secured the program's first-ever at-large berth to an NCAA Regional in 2008 before advancing to the NCAA Division I Championship for the first time in school history.
