Women’s Tennis announces 2026-27 fall schedule

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Coming off a spring season in which the Blue Raiders reached the quarterfinals of the Conference USA Championship, Middle Tennessee women's tennis head coach Tayo Bailey-Duvall has announced the fall 2026-2027 schedule.
The Blue Raiders open the fall season in Memphis, Tenn., traveling to the Leftwich Tennis Center for the Memphis Invite. Memphis will host the invitational on Sept. 18-20.
Following the Invite, MTSU will remain on the road and head to Cary, N.C., to compete in the ITA All-American Championships. Pre-qualifiers will begin on Sept. 19 and 20, with the week-long event running from Sept. 19-27.
The event serves as an opportunity for players to qualify for the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships, with 10 singles players (eight main-draw quarterfinalists and two feed-in consolation finalists) and five doubles teams (four main-draw semifinalists and the consolation champion).
After the ITA All-American Championships, Middle Tennessee will travel to Cincinnati for the ITA Division I Regional Championship on Oct. 8-13. The tournament features 64 players in both the main and qualifying draws, while doubles features a 64-team field.
The Blue Raiders return to Murfreesboro to host the MTSU Fall Invite on Oct 23-25 at the Adams Tennis Complex, with opponents to be announced.
To wrap up the fall slate, Middle Tennessee will spend two weekends in Rome, Ga., beginning with the UTR Pro Tennis Tour hosted at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College on Oct. 29-Nov. 1.
The Blue Raiders will return to Rome on Nov. 5-8 to take their final swings of the fall at the ITA Conference Masters. During the weekend, players have another opportunity to qualify for the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championship, with four singles players and two doubles teams qualifying through the tournament.
