GAME/EVENT OF THE YEAR: Football’s 35-30 win over Arkansas State to win the Camellia Bowl
PERFORMANCE OF THE YEAR: Drew Huff went 4-for-7, scoring three runs, driving in nine RBI, in-cluding a grand slam in the victory over Belmont. Huff was also a double short of the cycle. Not only did he break the school record for RBI in a game, but it also tied for second all-time in Conference USA, making him one of four in the league’s history with nine RBI in a game. Drew went on to win hitter of the week in Conference USA with his performance.
PLAY OF THE YEAR: Precious Birdsong’s single to shallow centerfield that scored Brooke McClure, the game winning run, from second base in extra innings of the rubber match game at WKU.
