Extra Yard for Teachers
Middle Tennessee Athletics is proud to be participating in the College Football Foundation’s Extra Yard for Teachers Initiative for the 2021 Football Season.
Extra Yard for Teachers provides the Blue Raiders a way to recognize our outstanding/hardworking educators in the Middle Tennessee area. The Blue Raiders want to extend the opportunity to help decrease teachers’ out-of-pocket expenses.

We need YOUR help in nominating an educator in the Middle Tennessee Area who is deserving of some recognition during these tough times!
Big Day
The BIG Day is a national day of supporting and celebrating teachers, by saying ‘thank you” to amazing educators dedicated to helping our kids learn.
This is the largest single-day effort of community impact ever undertaken by the extended college football family. It comes as teachers perform their essential duties against the extraordinary backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic. As schools across the country have been closed for in-person learning, teachers have found a way to keep kids learning. More than 150 partners across the country are expected to participate in the CFP Foundation’s initiative, including universities, conferences, bowl games, high schools, and corporate and educational organizations.
On September 14th, Middle Tennessee Athletics will surprise one educator in the Middle Tennessee Area with a $1,000 gift card to recognize and reward them for their efforts in the classroom.

To continue to support and uplift our teachers during the entire fall season, the Blue Raiders will continue to surprise different educators with a $500 gift to help with cost in the classroom.
