2021 Family Weekend

We are excited to welcome you back to campus for the 2021 MTSU Family Weekend. There are so many exciting events happening on campus this weekend. For more information on events outside of the football game, CLICK HERE for the official Parent and Family Association schedule of events.
We can’t wait to host you inside Floyd Stadium as our Blue Raiders host the Marshall Thundering Herd for our 2021 Blackout Game. Kickoff is scheduled for 6pm with gates opening at 4:30pm. Below is all the information you need to enjoy a football Saturday on MTSU campus!
Class of 2024 and 2025 will have the opportunity to participate in our annual Freshmen Walk at halftime. Grab your camera as you are sitting in the stands and record your MTSU student making their way across the field!

TICKET INFORMATION AND PACKAGE PICKUP
We are a digital ticketing venue, which means your tickets will be accessible on your phone. There will be no printed tickets. The Blue Raider ticket office sent out an email on how to retrieve your tickets.
Your tickets will be general admission student section. This will allow you and your MTSU student to sit together inside the student section (Floyd Stadium Map Here). Your students access their FREE student from Blue Raider Connect. For more information student ticketing, your students have this but feel free to share with them in case they have missed the emails. You will pickup your t shirt and concession stand voucher at the Gate 4 Entrance (Student Gate). Pickup will begin at 4pm. There will be a tent set up where you will retrieve your package. There will be no t shirt size exchange due to availability and your concession stand voucher will allow you a hot dog and drink (no substitutions).
PARKING
Campus does not ticket on the weekends, but please make sure you do not park in a handicap or non-parking spot. The best places to park on gameday are the Greenland Lot ($10) right by the stadium. The Rutherford Lot and the Livestock lot are huge lots that are free to park.
TAILGATING
Families and Fans are more than welcome to set up a tailgate in Walnut Grove. This is our official tailgating area. Fans are encouraged to set up tents, grill out, and socialize before the game. Walnut Grove opens around 7:30am gameday. Even if you don’t want to set up, there are many vendors with activities and inflatables open for everyone, Walnut Grove is also the location where our Raider Walk takes place (welcoming the Blue Raider Football team to campus).
FOOD
There are many options of places to grab a bite on campus with your MTSU student during Family Weekend. They have some specials deals available October 2nd and 3rd:
- McCallie Dining Hall @ KUC all-you-care-to-eat for $7.50 per person, including tax
- Raider Zone @ JUB 1/3 lb. cheeseburger combo for $7.00 plus tax (combo includes curly fries and fountain beverage)
- Raider Zone @ JUB chicken tenders combo for $7.00 plus tax (combo includes curly fries and fountain beverage)
- Raider Zone @ JUB breaded chicken sandwich combo for $7.00 plus tax (combo includes curly fries and fountain beverage)
- Raider Zone @ JUB grilled chicken sandwich combo for $7.00 plus tax (combo includes curly fries and fountain beverage)
FUN INSIDE FLOYD STADIUM
The fan experience amenities inside Floyd Stadium provides guaranteed fun for ALL AGES!
- Family Fun Zone includes inflatables, face painter, balloon artist and various carnival games! The Family Fun Zone is MTSU Creamery’s home inside Floyd Stadium. The MTSU Milk and ice cream are always a crowd favorite!
- Blue Raider Beer Garden is available for those 21 and up. Located in the south end zone at field level, the Beer Garden features craft beer from Hop Springs, cornhole, and front row action to the game!
