Blue Raider athletics is set to kick off its annual Blue Raider Summer Tour starting in July. The goal of the Blue Raider Summer Tour is to be able to connect with the community to build excitement about the 2022-23 athletic season. Each stop will feature ticket information and sales, posters, and other MT Athletics promotional items.
JULY
For the entire month of July, Blue Raider Fans can stop into Lightning’s Locker Room powered by Textbook Brokers or shop online on Fridays and receive 20% off regular priced MTSU gear.

12th - Blue Raider Family Fun Night | Murfreesboro Strike & Spare | 5:30pm – 8pm
Blue Raider Athletics is proud to join with MTSU Athletics sponsor Strike & Spare to host a community-wide Blue Raider Family Night for ALL AGES! Bring your families, friends, and neighbors for a night of guaranteed fun at Murfreesboro Strike and Spare located in Stones River Town Centre.
Strike and Spare will be offering the Blue Raider community a $10 wristband, normally $20, for 3 hours. The wristband includes unlimited Roller Skating, Laser Tag, Bumper Cars, Lazer Frenzy, Time Freak, and a game of bowling. Half of the proceeds from the night will come right back to the Blue Raider Athletic Association.
28th - Business Before Hours | Hall of Fame | 7:30 am – 9am
MT Athletics, The Rutherford Chamber of Commerce, and United Way have teamed up again for their annual Business Before Hours event. Head to the Jeff Hendrix Stadium Club for an informal, social networking event. Listen to guest speakers and meet other business professionals from across Rutherford County! MORE INFO
AUGUST
Every Saturday, Blue Raider Athletics will join the MTSU Creamery at the Murfreesboro Square Farmers Market every Saturday in the month of August. Stop by the MTSU Creamery truck for the best milk in Murfreesboro and take home some Blue Raider Athletics branded giveaways! Lightning will make some surprise appearances throughout the month as well.
9th - Dinner with the Blue Raiders | Slim & Husky’s Pizza | 6pm -8pm
Join Blue Raider Athletics for dinner at our official athletic sponsor Slim N Husky’s. 10% of all proceeds will go back to the Blue Raider Athletic Association. Come have dinner with us and visit with lightning and staff!
13th - MYP Cornhole Tournament | Floyd Stadium | 5 pm – 8 pm
Murfreesboro Young Professionals will host their annual Cornhole Tournament at Floyd Stadium sponsored in part by MTSU Athletics. Information on how to participate: CLICK HERE
16th - Blue Raider Socials | Mayday Brewery (Trivia Night) | 6 pm -9 pm
Blue Raider Athletics is partnering with Mayday Brewery for a Blue Raider Happy Hour Night. Blue Raider fans are invited to join us at Mayday Brewery for Trivia Night, BOGO Beer Specials, and giveaways.
21st - Fan Day | Floyd Stadium | 3 pm – 5 pm
Come to the field of Floyd Stadium for an afternoon full of fun. This event will allow Blue Raider fans the opportunity to meet players and coaches from the Blue Raider Football team. Fans will be able to get autographs, pick up their 2022 posters and schedule magnets, play on the inflatables, check out local vendors, and enjoy live music. The Blue Raider ticket office will be on-site for fans to purchase season tickets and the Blue Raider Athletic Association will also be set up to answer questions and sign-up new members.
24th - Blue Raider Socials | Cedar Glades Brewery | 5:30 pm – 9 pm
Blue Raider Athletics is partnering with Cedar Glades Brewery for a Blue Raider Social Night. Blue Raider fans are invited to join us at Cedar Glades for live music and giveaways.
SEPTEMBER
16th - Friday Night on the Square | Rutherford County Lawn | 6:30 pm
Join the entire MTSU community for a #TRUE Blue Night on the Square. This free event will not only feature live music but will also have a special touch of blue to highlight the night as we prepare for our home opener football game the next day vs TSU!
