What is the SAAC?
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is a leadership group consisting of student-athletes representing 17 sports at Middle Tennessee State University. The MTSU SAAC serves as a conduit of communication among student-athletes, coaches, and athletic administrators on issues concerning the student-athlete experience while promote growth and education through sports.
SAAC leaders provide information to their peers as it relates to the MTSU Athletic Department, Conference USA, and the NCAA. The committee members also engage their teammates in community involvement and social engagement to develop and enhance their role in the community and develop pride in being part of the MTSU family while promoting academic excellence, personal development, and leadership skills.
