Middle Tennesee State University Athletics

MTSU Alcohol Policy
Middle Tennessee Athletics is excited to once again offer a variety of concession options to our visitors to Floyd Stadium this season, including a variety of alcoholic beverages, particularly in our Blue Raider beer garden. If you choose to drink on Game Days this fall, please make sure you’re aware of the following polices before you enjoy your drink with friends, family and fellow fans this season! Welcome to Floyd Stadium and we appreciate you sharing your time with us.
Know before you Go
- Beer and Wine will be sold throughout Johnny “Red” Floyd Stadium at concessions stands and the beer garden.
- A maximum of 2 alcoholic beverages may be sold per transaction.
- To consume alcohol and/or enter the beer garden, regardless of age, you will be required to produce a valid photo ID at the wristband station near each gate. Any state or federal identification can be swiped at the station on a high-tech scanner, and after age verification, a wristband will be given to those fans who want to purchase or consume an alcoholic beverage.
- Middle Tennessee Athletics reserves the right to refuse alcoholic beverages at any time.
- Individuals will be ejected from the venue and are subject to prosecution if they consume alcoholic beverages while underage, pass off beer to a minor, attempt to use a fake ID, or if they are intoxicated.
Proof of Age Required
- To help make your experience a seamless one at Floyd Stadium, all patrons, regardless of age, who wish to drink alcohol will be required to produce a valid photo ID at the wristband station near each gate. Any state or federal identification can be swiped at the station on a high-tech scanner, and after age verification, a wristband will be given to those fans who want to purchase or consume an alcoholic beverage.
- Valid Photo IDs include valid driver’s license, military ID card, passport or government-issued photo ID Card.
- Individuals consuming/purchasing alcohol must be wearing a wristband provided by the wristband station. Any consumption of alcohol, outside of suite areas, by a person not wearing a wristband will not be tolerated.
- Individuals consuming alcohol must be able to present a valid photo ID at all times; fans may be asked to show their ID away from the point of sale or wristband station.
Getting home safely
To help ensure our patrons arrive home safely following the conclusion of the game, fans should note both of the following prior to arriving to Floyd Stadium.
- Beer Sales will conclude at the end of the 3rd Quarter
- A designated rideshare pickup area will be located near the outside of Gate 3 down the walking path between baseball stadium and football practice field.
