RAIDER WALK
Join MTSU Football as the team makes their walk to Floyd Stadium through Walnut Grove two hours and fifteen minutes before the kickoff, while fans, cheerleaders and members of the Band of Blue line up on the sides to wish the Blue Raiders good luck in their upcoming game.
PARTY IN THE GROVE
Located in Walnut Grove, the centerpiece of Party in the Grove is the truck stage for live musical performances, generating excitement before each of the six home football games. Food trucks and several new sponsor tents and activities will be added to the mix as well, making this the #1 destination for your pregame experience.

44th Annual Salute to Veterans and Armed Forces
–The Salute to Service game recognizes veterans and active-duty personnel for service to their country. All veterans and active-duty personnel and their families are invited to the game and pregame events. Tickets will be available on the day of the game at the pregame picnic in Walnut Grove or you can reserve tickets in advance via VetTix.
Scout Night
–Enjoy a fun night out with your scout group or troop at the MTSU Football game. Each group will receive a complimentary MTSU Scout Patch and greet the team as part of the on-field high-five tunnel. For more information, contact Kayla Stiles at Kayla.Stiles@mtsu.edu.
Family Weekend

–Join us as we celebrate those who teach and educate our community.
Lightning's Reading Club
–The reading program, launched in 2014, issues a challenge from Middle Tennessee mascot, Lightning, to read for 20 minutes a night for 15 days during the month of October.
–Elementary students can keep track of their progress on a "reading log", and when completed, turn into their teacher. Each student in participating Rutherford County Schools and Murfreesboro City Schools will then receive a "Lightning's Reading Club Certificate of Achievement", with the bottom half of the certificate redeemable for a complimentary ticket to the Blue Raider football game. If you are an educator outside of Rutherford County Schools or Murfreesboro City Schools and would like your elementary school to participate, email james.kentfield@mtsu.edu for more information.
