Noteworthy: Was one of the top defensive players on the team the last part of the 2000 season ... Listed No. 1 at right end coming out of spring drills ... Power cleans 308 pounds ... Chose MT over Houston and Texas Tech.
2000: Played in all 11 games, including the last five as a starter at the "Bandit" linebacker spot ... Finished the year with 19 total tackles, four tackles for lost yardage and two sacks ... Had season highs of four tackles against UAB (three solos) and South Florida ... His sacks came against Connecticut and South Florida in back-to-back games ... Collected three pass breakups on the season with two coming against Louisiana-Lafayette ... Averaged 20.1 snaps per game ... Was in on a season best 39 snaps in the win over South Florida.
