Siriki Diabate, a former player for current MT defensive coordinator Scott Shafer at Syracuse, is in his fifth season on Rick Stockstill’s staff. Diabate coaches the linebackers.

• Mentors DQ Thomas, who enters 2021 ranked fifth at MT in sacks and tied for fourth in tackles for loss
• In 2018, coached players named All-C-USA First Team (Darius Harris), Second Team (Khalil Brooks) and Honorable Mention (DQ Thomas)
• Coached second team all-conference player Khalil Brooks in 2017 who finished 21st nationally in tackles for loss. Also had Darius Harris earn Camellia Bowl MVP honors in win over A-State and DJ Sanders earn honorable mention All-C-USA recognition
• Khalil Brooks ended his career ranked in top five all-time at MT in sacks and tackles for loss
At Notre Dame, defensive analyst - secondary (2017)
• Joined the Fighting Irish in March 2017 and went through spring drills before taking MT linebacker job
At Colgate, safeties (2015-17)
• Advanced to 2015 Division I Football Championship quarterfinals
• 2015 Patriot League Champions
• Ranked first in rushing defense nationally in 2015
• Defense was first in league in total defense and rushing defense, while ranking second in scoring defense
• Recruited and coached Abu Daramy to 2016 Patriot League Rookie of the Year honors, while Joe Figueroa earned All-Patriot League honors
• He has participated in the NFL's Minority Internship Program, joining the Buffalo Bills training camp in 2014 and the Dallas Cowboys in 2016.
