Noteworthy: Is expected to be at full strength when the season opens after knee surgery last fall ... A versatile back who is not only a weapon as a runner, but also as a receiver ... Will give the Blue Raiders a tremendous trio of backs with Dwone Hicks and Don Calloway ... Possesses good speed and vision ... Coaches call him the most consistent blocker among all the Blue Raider backs ... Will be counted on for leadership ... 2000: Started the opener at Illinois and suffered a season-ending knee injury late in the first half ... Had a total of eight carries for 46 yards, including a 24-yard run in the first quarter.
1999: Led the team in rushing with 548 yards on 117 carries ... Also rushed for a team best nine touchdowns ... Played in all 11 games and started three times ...
