Honors: Earned the defense's "Best Effort" award during 2004 spring drills.
2003: Competed in nine games, but most of his action came on special teams until the last part of the season ... Ended the year with four tackles and a forced fumble ... Played in his first collegiate game at Missouri on special teams ... Had one tackle against Temple ... Collected a tackle and forced a fumble in the win over NMSU.
High School: Led Clarkston his senior year with 150 tackles to go along with eight tackles for loss, two sacks, and four interceptions ... Rushed 85 times for 425 yards and six touchdowns as a fullback ... Earned second team All-DeKalb County honors ... Was also All-City and honorable mention All-State ... Won the team's Most Valuable Player award as a junior and senior ... Earned All-County honors for three straight years in basketball and baseball ... Won the team's academic award in 2002.
