Justin Levine enters his first season as a member of head coach Nick McDevitt’s staff in 2026-2027.
Before arriving in Murfreesboro, Levine served five years as an assistant coach at UNC Asheville, helping guide the Bulldogs to their seventh consecutive season with at least eight conference wins and a fourth straight trip to the Big South semifinals. During his tenure, UNC-A captured a Big South regular season and tournament championship, an NCAA Tournament berth and produced multiple 20-win campaigns.
Prior to his stint in Asheville, Levine spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Columbia and three seasons as a graduate assistant and video coordinator for VCU. During his time with the Rams, he focused on offense, including duties such as maintaining the offensive playbook, creating drills and position group workouts.
While pursuing an undergraduate degree in business administration at Ithaca College, Levine worked with the Cornell men’s basketball program from 2013-15. After graduating, he continued his education at VCU, earning a Master of Education from the Center for Sport Leadership in 2017.
