Austin Howard was hired as a graduate assistant under Head Coach Nick McDevitt entering the 2019-20 season, joining the Blue Raiders after spending the 2018-19 season on the boys basketball staff at Collierville High School in Memphis.
Howard played collegiate basketball at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Fla., amassing 422 points, 190 rebounds and 154 assists in his four-year career in which he played in 100 games.
The Pulaski, Tenn., native received his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in marketing from Flagler and will pursue his master’s in leisure and sport management while at Middle Tennessee.
