Makenzie Dugger joined Middle Tennessee’s men and women’s Track and Cross Country programs as an athletic trainer in March of 2023.
Dugger comes to MTSU after serving as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for Cheerleading and Secondary Coverage at the University of Illinois.
After graduating from University of Northern Colorado in 2018 with an undergraduate degree in Athletic Training and a minor in Nutrition, Dugger received her Master's in Sports Education from Gardner-Webb University in 2020.
During her time at Gardner-Webb, Dugger was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Women’s Lacrosse team. When she graduated, she became the Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Women’s Volleyball, Women’s Tennis and Women’s Lacrosse teams.
