Lee to leave early for shot at the NFL

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Junior running back ReShard Lee has decided to forego his senior year of eligibility at Middle Tennessee and enter the 2003 NFL Draft. Lee, from Brunswick, GA, was on course to graduate in four years, which would have earned him his fifth year of eligibility at MT.
Lee, a first team all-Sun Belt performer this past season as an all-purpose runner, ended his two-year collegiate career with 1,432 yards rushing on 218 carries (6.6).
Lee becomes the first player in Middle Tennessee football history to leave early for the professional ranks.
