Blue Raiders head north for Akron

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee will take on the Akron Zips on Saturday at 6 p.m. to continue its long road swing.

The Blue Raiders take the all-time series against the Zips, 16-10 with a 6-1 record in their last seven meetings. The last time the two met Jaqawn Raymond collected 17 points in 9 minutes of action in the team's 80-73 win.

MT has one more road test after Akron as the Blue Raiders travel to Oklahoma State for a Tuesday game on ESPNU before the team returns home to host Chattanooga (Dec. 19) and Tennessee State (Dec. 21).
