MURFREESBORO – Middle Tennessee looks to remain strong at home as streaking Marshall comes to town Saturday for another key Conference USA battle. The Blue Raiders are 3-1 at Floyd Stadium this season while the Herd comes to town having won seven straight.
Kickoff is set for 2:35 PM central time from Floyd Stadium and will be shown nationally on the Fox Sports Regional Network (Comcast: 1676; DirecTV: 649; Dish: 5415, 5416, 5417; AT&T U-Verse: 1720).
Middle Tennessee and Marshall have met four times on the football field with the Herd holding a 3-1 advantage.

Midgett and Tower permit holders are encouraged to enter campus on Old Main Circle via East Main Street to avoid Greenland Drive congestion. You must access the Greenland Drive Lot via Middle Tennessee Boulevard or Old Lascassas Highway. Fans not destined for Greenland should avoid Greenland Drive.
Paid parking will be available in the back half (closest to Dean A. Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium) of the Greenland lot, as well as in the Holmes lot. Free parking will be available in the Livestock lot located off Greenland Drive.

JAMES MOVES UP LIST; TIES FRESHMAN MARK
With 10 catches at LA Tech, redshirt freshman Richie James ran his season total to 65. That total currently ranks tied for 7th on Middle Tennessee's single-season list and is well within reach of Kerry Wright's all-time record of 76. His 65 receptions also ties Tyrone Calico's freshman mark that was set in 1999.
BATTIES TIES RECORD
With two touchdown receptions against LA Tech, senior Ed Batties tied the single-season school record of 11 set by Kerry Wright in 2004. With his next scoring grab, Batties will own the record outright. For his career, Batties now has 14 touchdown catches which ranks tied for 8th with Malcolm Beyah (2008-11).
STOCKSTILL SETS SINGLE-SEASON RECORD
QB Brent Stockstill, who already owns nearly ever freshman passing record, established a new single-season mark at MT for 300-yard passing games with his 381-yard effort at LA Tech. Stockstill now has four 300-yard games on the season to break the previous mark of three. He also stands tied for second on the career list with Logan Kilgore and is chasing all-time leader Wes Counts who had seven for his career.

Freshman Brent Stockstill, who leads all first year players nationally in passing, is having a stellar rookie campaign. Against LA Tech, Stockstill completed 36 of 56 passes for 381 yards and all three were career highs. The 36 completions went down as a new school record as was the 56 attempts. The 381 yards passing ranked as the 5th most for a single-game at MT. For the year, Stockstill is averaging 26 completions per game which equals out to 316 for the season and that would be a new MT record.
BYARD TIES CAREER RECORD, NEEDS ONE MORE
Senior Kevin Byard tied a 33-year old Middle Tennessee record when he hauled in his 17th career interception against Vanderbilt. Byard currently shares the school record with James Griffin (1979-82) and needs one more to own the mark outright. Byard's 17 picks is currently tied for second nationally among active players.

The receiving tandem of Ed Batties and Richie James became just the third duo to collect at least 60 receptions each in a season at MT. The other two were Kerry Wright (74) and Chris Henry (60) in 2004 and Kendall Newson (69) and Tyrone Calico (65) in 1999. James now has 65 receptions on the season while Batties has added 60.
