Netters Look To Continue Run

NORFOLK, Va. – Middle Tennessee will look to continue its strong start to the season when it faces two stiff challenges at Old Dominion and Virginia Commonwealth this week.

The Blue Raiders have won three straight matches and have racked up the most wins of any C-USA women's tennis team in the early going with a sterling 6-2 worksheet.
Middle Tennessee's Nayara Moraes and Darya Shulzhanok will look to remain perfect. Moraes has earned the most wins of any individual in C-USA. Moraes is 7-0, and she is followed closely by teammates Darya Shulzhanok, who is 6-0 this spring.

Two of the league's top players will square off when Middle Tennessee and Old Dominion meet Friday. The match should pit two of the top players in the conference in ODU's Borislava Botusharov and Blue Raider standout Tiffany William.

Shulzhanok and William have also been a tough combination in doubles play. They are 4-0 and one win behind the leaders for most doubles wins.
