Raiders Put Win Streak On Line

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Winners of five straight, Middle Tennessee will face another stern challenge when it plays No. 74 Mississippi State here Saturday.
The Blue Raiders (8-2) will be facing their third Southeastern Conference opponent. They dropped a 4-0 decision at No. 28 Auburn in the opener, and lost a tough 4-3 decision at No. 33 Tennessee.
Mississippi State is 6-1 and winners of three straight.
Nayara Moraes (9-0) and Darya Shulzhanok (8-0) will be looking to extend their unbeaten streak to start the season, and Giulia Squadrin (8-1) has won seven straight. Brittany Huxley (6-3) and Tiffany William (5-3) also have winning ledgers fro the Blue Raiders.
Shulzhanok and William (5-1) and Huxley and Moraes (5-2) have been solid in doubles play, and the combination of Jesse Grace and Squadrin (4-0) is unbeaten at No. 3.
