Blue Raiders back in action on Friday
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee men's tennis returns to the courts to face Vanderbilt on Friday at 2 p.m.

Although the match is played in Nashville, this will be the Blue Raiders first away match after starting the season 4-1. MT's only loss this season came at the hands of No. 31 NC State, while it defeated Chattanooga, Murray State, Jackson State and Tennessee Tech.
The Commodores come into the match in a tie for 23rd nationally and are 6-2 on the season. Last week Vanderbilt defeated both Big 10 foes Michigan and Indiana 4-3.
The Commodores have two nationally ranked players with Gonzales Austin ranking 10th in singles rankings and Rhys Johnson coming in at 73rd.
Middle Tennessee's freshman Gian Issa collected Conference USA Player of the Week Honors last week after going 2-1 on the week.
