Uber Partners with Middle Tennessee

MURFREESBORO - Blue Raider football has officially kicked off and Middle Tennessee is excited to bring fans and students a seamless and memorable game day experience. For the Charlotte and Vanderbilt games, Middle Tennesse will run a new pilot program with Uber to provide fans and students an additional transportation option to get to Floyd Stadium on game day. Uber will be offering free rides to the game for everyone new to Uber. For fans and students who have never taken a ride with Uber, apply the promo code 'MTSU' for a free trip up to $20.
On game days, MTSU and Uber created a dedicated area for Uber pick-ups and drop-offs located at Middle Tennessee Boulevard and Alma Mater Drive.
Pre-Game: Request an Uber and get dropped off steps away from Floyd Stadium.
Post-Game: Request an Uber and then head to the Uber pick-up & drop-off location in front of Middle Tennessee Boulevard and Alma Mater Drive.
For Existing Uber Users: Split the fare with fellow fans to make group rides to and from the game
How to Uber: Visit iTunes or Google Play stores to download the app. Once you've downloaded the Uber app and set up your account, you can request a ride with two quick taps.
1. Let the Uber app find your location via GPS or type in your address or venue manually
2. Select "Set pick-up Location"
3. Choose your desired car type using the slider at the bottom of the screen
4. On the next screen, tap "Request" and we'll find you the nearest available driver
