Middle Tennessee closes weekend at FAU

BOCA RATON, Fla. — Seeking to cap the weekend on a high note, the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders will face the FAU Owls in a Sunday afternoon showdown.
Sunday's action is set for a 11 a.m. tip from FAU Arena in Boca Raton. The Blue Raiders hold a 15-4 advantage in the all-time series, but are in search of their first win against the Owls since 2013.
Five Blue Raiders set or matched season-highs in the Friday setback at LA Tech. Aubrie Huddleston paced the offense with 17 kills, while Regan Coughlin added 15.
Setter Jacqueline Lux dished out a career-high 46 assists, and sits 42 digs away from 1,000 in her career.
FAU (7-10, 2-1) is coming off consecutive C-USA victories against FIU and Charlotte. The Owls, who were slated to play Rice on Friday, have not played since Oct. 2 due to Hurricane Matthew.
The Owls are led by Maja Ristic and Sigourney Kame who have tallied 221 and 201 kills this season, respectively.
Following Sunday's action, the Blue Raiders return to AMG next weekend for a league match against UTSA Friday.
